Hi, I’m Honey
This beautiful blind Staffy pup moves through the world with a confidence that takes your breath away. She navigates using sound, touch, and trust - and once you meet her, you realise she doesn't experience life as limited at all. Honey experiences it fully.
She is affectionate to her core. A true little shadow, Honey follows the sound of your voice and curls up close whenever she can. If she momentarily loses track of you, she'll let out a soft cry until she finds her way back - tail wagging like she's just won the lottery. She is deeply connected to her people and thrives on reassurance, praise, and gentle words.
Honey already knows some special voice cues like "Watch your nose," "Careful," and "Gentle," and she uses them beautifully as she explores her world.
Honey is clever and eager to please, responding beautifully to her cues and always trying her best. She's almost fully toilet trained, settles well when given her own space, and has a recall to her name that surprises everyone who meets her.
She's playful, social, and fantastic with other dogs - full of joyful, goofy Staffy energy. She would need to go home with another dog, as she uses them to help guide her.
Crinkly toys and even your thongs are some of her favourite treasures. Sudden loud sounds can startle her, but with calm encouragement she bounces right back, brave as ever.
Honey is not defined by what she's lost. She is defined by her resilience, her affection, her intelligence, and her enormous heart.
She isn't just special - she's extraordinary.
And whoever gets to love Honey will never forget her.
Honey's journey is being lovingly followed by the TV show For the Love of Pets, capturing her path as she searches for the safe, happy forever home she truly deserves. Her story is a special one, and this opportunity allows her new beginning to be shared and celebrated with a wider audience.
To be part of Honey's journey, her future adopter will need to feel comfortable participating in filming. This will include welcoming the film crew to capture the adoption meet at the RSPCA, as well as potentially taking part in a gentle follow-up visit in the home once Honey has had time to settle in and truly shine in her new environment.
These moments help highlight the incredible impact of adoption and give Honey's story the happy ending she deserves. If you're open to sharing in this experience, you'll be helping show just how life-changing a second chance can be-for both Honey and her new family.
