Hi, I’m Orpheus
Meet Orpheus! Orpheus is eager to please and treat-motivated, but appears to have had little to no prior training. He'll benefit from work on lead skills, basic manners, and socialisation. Still young and full of potential, he's keen to learn and thrives with positive reinforcement.
He can be jumpy and excitable, so we recommend children 8+, though this could be lowered with a successful meet. He has shown signs of separation anxiety when left alone, especially in the back pound pens, and can become unsettled when people leave. Ideally, he'd suit a home where someone is around often or with a calm, social doggy friend to help him feel secure.
With a patient, experienced owner who can provide stability, confidence, and gentle guidance, he'll blossom into a loyal and well-rounded companion.

- A property check may be required before ADOPTION to ensure the safety and welfare of adoption animals. Rental agreements allowing pets will be required for adoptions into rental properties. Differential pricing may apply.

- While our shelters are open, not every pet available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. To express your interest, Apply to Adopt online and if it's a perfect match you will be shortlisted and contacted via phone by our Adoption Team to discuss the animal in detail.
